BRIDGE CLOSURE – 1000 STEVENS LN
Beginning on October 27, 2025: The Stevens Lane crossing Big Springs Branch Creek near 1000 Stevens Lane will be closed due to replacement of the bridge. The time-frame for the closure shall be approximately 8-10 weeks pending weather.

Our history dates back to 1784, when Nelson County was formed from Jefferson County and was named for Virginian Governor and signer of the Declaration of Independence, General Thomas Nelson Jr. Our county seat of Bardstown was settled in 1780, and is Kentucky’s second-oldest city.
