Nelson County Fiscal Court will accept sealed bids for furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to supply and/or install asphalt surface or asphalt base on miscellaneous roads throughout Nelson County.
Sealed Bids will be opened on June 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Nelson County Fiscal Court Room at the Nelson County Courthouse, located at One Court Square, Bardstown Kentucky.
Contract bid forms and specifications can be obtained at this office or at the Nelson County Road Department office (820 West Stephen Foster); or by contacting John Greenwell, P.E., at (502) 827-6008.
Nelson County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and waive formalities.

Variety of materials, supplies and services
Nelson Fiscal Court requests bids for a variety of materials, supplies and services to be provided during the July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027, fiscal year. Bids are solicited for rock, oils, fuel, culverts, tires and other similar supplies. Bid specifications may be obtained by calling the County Judge’s office at 502-348-1800. Sealed bids will be opened and must be received by 2:00 p.m. local time on June 15, 2026. Bids must be mailed or delivered to Tim Hutchins, County of Nelson, P.O. Box 578, One Court Square, Bardstown, KY 40004. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the bid specifications in a sealed envelope marked in the front lower left corner “Sealed Bid”.
